Do you have a Crest account?

I know of at least one other Fool on this board who does. If you do, see this on the 'Brokers and Share Dealing' board:

Charles Stanley Direct Crest Account

Anyone who has a Crest account with Charles Stanley Direct (or FastTrade as they were) should be receiving an email shortly. Apparently Euroclear now require the National Insurance number for all who hold a sponsored Crest account. If CSD do not already have yours on record, their email asks... ... ...

Re: Spam MAil

...I 'have a webmail account so I can delete them before downloading my emails... Which webmail? Rather than delete them in Yahoo! mail (for example) you can mark them as spam. This not only moves them to your Spam folder, but also trains the sorting algorithm so that in future they are recognised ...

I said all of which... ...The rest of the statement contains no disasters or even hiccups that I can see. Nor does it contain any discussion of the impact of Brexit. Such statements seem to be only made in the Finals, as was the case in last May's... Looking forward, we remain confident in the unde...

Also from that link: ...The third interim dividend payment for the quarter ended 31 December 2016 will be 7.30 pence per share, a 3.0% increase on the comparable period last year... All of which sounds reassuring thank you. All of which was entirely predictable, actually. BLND pays four equal quart...

Re: New iWeb account fee reduced

I expect there's some sites that work well on all the different (physical) sizes of devices, but I'm coming across a lot of websites that in trying to be phone/tablet friendly are inflicting huge fonts on laptop & desktop users, along with navigation boxes designed for poking at with a fat fing...

How different we all are. I can't drink coffee without sugar, but can drink tea with none (though I prefer a quarter-teaspoon full).

...t's apparently to make it mobile and tablet friendly. Bad news for those of us who use neither device? No, not at all. Having been involved in developing a website for a small club I know what 'mobile and tablet friendly' involves - the technical term is "Responsive". It just means tha...

Re: FT Portfolio Problem

Any ideas about how I could delete ft cookies without deleting all cookies? In IE I found tools, delete all cookies but nothing to pick and choose. Try clearing just the cache first, you may not need to delete cookies. If you have to delete IE's cookies then no, Microsoft don't make it easy to pick...

Re: Spooked?

There seems to be a habit on BBC4 (which shows a lot of back-catalogue) of broadcasting 4:3 material as a 16:9 picture with the 4:3 material placed in the centre and black bands added to either side. Are you sure that's really BBC4? I haven't noticed that.. Yes. I can copy the digital recordings fr...

I can still get access using my laptop so what's going on? Try another browser on the PC, or try a 'private browsing' session (so that no existing cache or cookies get used) - on all browsers bar Chrome use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+P to start one. If either of those work it suggests your co...

Re: Veracrypt (an alternative)

It was inferred that a situation had arisen that they weren't happy with, and the implication was that their product from that point on had become insecure, perhaps as a result of NSA interference. Hence, without knowing for sure, it has been assumed that the last 'safe' version of Truecrypt was 7....

True... but no complaints within a month or so of posting does support your point that no one was that 'bothered' by the post.

There weren't - I've checked (look for the tell-tale missing post numbers in the board index). The first deleted post after that April posting was in June, re: a completely different topic.
