Solar for Schools 5.5% bond

I thought I'd post to raise awareness about Solar for Schools. Their Community Benefit Society are currently offering bonds paying 5.5% interest over an expected 5 year term. The money funds projects to install solar panels on schools, often at no initial cost to the school themselves. As well as the environmental benefits from the solar power, this aims to save the schools money compared to buying from energy suppliers over the project lifetime, and an important part of the package they provide is energy education to pupils via lessons, apps and science kits, so both environmental and educational benefits.
