Has anyone used Paragon Bank

#48586

Postby Clariman » April 25th, 2017, 5:01 pm

At the moment, Paragon Bank seem to have the best rates on 5 year fixed savings accounts and 5 year fixed ISAs. Has anyone ever used them? They appear to be backed by FSCS and British based.

Thanks

I opened a 1 year fixed account with them about three weeks ago. They were top of MSE's list for those at the time.

I don't have much to report. Everything worked fine and uneventfully. That's it :)

I've had an account with them for a couple of years, and the interest rate was reduced a few months back from 1.46 to 1.15%.

Only gripe is their Faster Payments are a next working day payment schedule, not almost instantaneous as other accounts I hold (Santander, TSB & RBS).

Otherwise, no problems
Mike
