I'm sure most of you know this, but just to be sure, Iceland (the store, not the country) gives 10% off cost of purchases every Tuesday.

You have to be over 60, and show an Iceland Bonus card plus proof of age at the checkout, either a driving licence, senior bus pass, senior railcard, or freedom pass (although freedom passes can only be used as ID in London stores). If you’re in Scotland or Wales, you can’t get the discount on alcohol.

So how many hours does it take between closing the doors in the evening and finally clearing the checkout queues?

Yeah? But then I'd have to shop at Iceland...

Did I mention,

I presume it is that nanny state minimum pricing law in Scotland. Did not know that Wales has one as well but it figures.

Booze runs to Carlisle and Chester?
