Today's topups
Don't laugh:
Topped up; Marks, Centrica and Greene King.
The average yield of my HYP is 4.95%, and the effective yield of the new recruits is 5.8%. I decided to tack on a small purchase of Greene King despite the yield being below my average. It's a good dividend payer which has always been sure footed.
We'll see what the next days bring, but I'm not inclined to make any more purchases unless something dramatic happens. Apart from any other consideration, the cash pot is getting low!
I'll post the resulting table tomorrow - I feel it's too late to wrestle with formatting tonight

Against the guidance of my HYPTUS (- that suggests top-ups to Pearson & Aberdeen Asset Management) I topped up Marston's and Imperial Brands.
Powder is now running low

Mmm. Marstons' divi appears to be uncovered?
Am tempted, but it seems a bit of a punt.

Sadly, my powder keg is empty save for the regular monthly dollop of cash that goes into my ISA on a monthly basis, and next week that's scheduled to top up my BT.A holdings.
Next month I'm thinking it might be BLND as its my third lowest value sector. We'll see nearer the time.
Regards,
Ian.

I looked at that too Ian and decided to top up Hansteen instead (re-deploying some of the SAB Miller money).

Re: Today's topups
Here's my top up table after yesterday's purchases of MKS, GNK and CNA. MKS although topped up to about median strength (median=1 in the table) is still at No.3. VOD is now in first place, but the dividend is apparently not covered. SBRY is bubbling under but Man Group is rising again and looks better placed. By next month - assuming there's any cash in the pot to invest, the picture could look quite different. CNA is now 11th ranked and is out of the running anyway due to capital invested of over 4%.
PS this table was formatted with the export Excel data tool, herehttp://lemonfoolfinancialsoftware.weebly.com/export-excel-data-to-tmf.html which seems to work better for me that the one TJH linked to.
