Just want to put a marker-topic down for keen-cooks, being one myself. I look forward to sharing recipes here.

At this point in time/time of year I'll suggest Delia's Leek and potato soup which IMO is a thing of wonder and you can dress it up as you wish [like adding shredded poached/roast chicken etc]. With a wedge of toasty bread it's a meal in itself.

Following your link to the soup recipe, I noticed an Italian Chocolate Nut Christmas Cake, which I looks delicious - and can be made gluten-free by substituting or omitting the breadcrumbs to line the tin. Thanks for that - on both counts. :)

Argh! No recs!!!!

Both recipes are great.

The first one because it brings back old memories of a 21st birthday party I cooked for the second because it sounds delicious!
