It seems to be possible to include a post in the Announcements section at the top of either a specific board (as Posting Rule Updated is here) or all boards (as How to add tables and Tips on navigating the boards are). So, it looks like there is already a mechanism to be able to add an intro and/or FAQ page(s) to each board.
It'd be a bit much to ask Stooz & Clariman to write all of those
but it's perfectly reasonable to suggest that the denizens of each board come up with one for their board (very possibly cribbed from what was on TMF of course), and then just ask the moderators/Stooz&Clariman for it to be pinned into the Announcements section of the board.
