Post Editing
Is their some kind of 'race' condition between editing and deleting your own posts? I wanted to delete a duplicate post and found I could edit and report but not delete.
LATER. To answer by own question, it looks like : "Yes"
The timeout for deleting your own post is shorter than the timeout for editing your own post.

I suppose you could edit away all the (duplicate) content and treat us all to some additional pearls! C.XFool wrote:I wanted to delete a duplicate post and found I could edit and report but not delete.

Re: Post Editing
I was hinting and hoping the timeouts could be aligned. Preferably by increasing the deletion timeout up to the editing timeout.
In my case the duplicates come about by intending to edit my own post, but instead hitting the quote button.

Or pinkware, but I can never decide if that's a bit racist!

I don't think so, we're all pink at the core (which is where is counts). C.melonfool wrote:Or pinkware, but I can never decide if that's a bit racist!

We refer to them as PEBDACs (Problem Exists Between Desk And Chair) but 'picnic' is a good one!
