Whats the board general view of this offer? I'm relatively new to VCTs but the prospectus, and historical performance, looks good

I invested in the Albion early bird offer in December, looking what do to with some other remaining funds.

ANy thoughts greatly appreciated!

Unicorn is currently my second-biggest single VCT holding (though that's partly an artifact of it being the only VCT from the manager, while would-be bigger holdings are split over more than one VCT). It's lagged over the past year, but longer-term has a pretty good track record.

Note that the yield is lower than most (healthy) VCTs and the discount is higher. That makes it one to tuck away for the long term and hope for a rising dividend and capital value (maybe think HYP). If you want to sell after five years, you'll probably do better with some of the other offers.

Thanks Uncle E. Seems like a good "slow and steady" VCT which I'll put away for a long time.

Interestingly both HL and Wealthclub are saying there is a 5.5% initial fee, reduced to 2.5% by going through them. Yet the prospectus only mentions 2.5% fee by going direct!

That was pretty quick for a medium-sized offer. Especially on an AIM VCT.
