REITs in IG ISA

Postby mc2fool » December 6th, 2016, 9:58 am

Thinking of moving from TD to IG....

Does anyone have any experience of holding REITs in an IG ISA, and can report on how they handle PIDs?

That is, do they manage to get PIDs gross of tax or do they get them net and reclaim the tax, and if the latter, how long do they usually take to do so?

I can't answer your question but have you seen today's news about IG and its share price move? There is talk of IG moving overseas.

I'm facing the same dilemma as you - uncertainty over TD. But now it seems there is uncertainty over IG as well. Along with the constant messing with fees it's becoming hard to know what to do here and so, at least in my case. I'm going to sit tight with TD and see what happens.

But this is all a little depressing.
