I cannot for the moment find anything equivalent to that in my Excel. On the other hand, whatever Excel has been doing worked OK up until this latest version.

I cannot see how all the formulae seem to work between the columns, but the total income never varies.

I'll play around by altering numbers sometime next week to see what happens.

In my ancient Excel 2000 (!) it's under menu item Tools -> Options... -> Calculation.

Thanks for that. Yes, I found it, and the option is set to "automatic".

I've found the error, and it is mine.

When copying the total dividends into a column on the tracking page*, I've copied the formula SUM(For_div), not the value. Why I started doing this from the end of June, I've no idea. I may have been due to going away for 5-6 weeks and forgetting what my usual procedures were.

*I've been used to copying in this value rather than letting HYPTUSS do it, because the direct automatic result needs to be corrected if there are "funnies" in the dividends.
