Because your link isn't direct to an image.

On imgur, right-click the image and select "open image in new tab". Then copy the URL from that page.

Because of using my original link, I thought we'd get the title.

But as we don't, it is the lovely view from the top of Snowdon, last Tuesday at about 14:00

And then the weather closed in

LOL, I thought it was the aftermath of a terrible earthquake, with the rescue parties just arriving. :P

Getting up Snowdon is very civilised. The building on the right is the train station. And the caff.

I know, I know. I did it the uncivilised way when I was ten. The caff probably hasn't changed at all, except that the sandwiches have presumably been renewed every so often?

It was demolished in 2006 and rebuilt. The new building was officially opened in 2009. I have been up there both to the old building and the new one but several years apart. I'm sure I recall having a proper meal on a plate in the old cafe and not just the pasties and similar things they had in the seemingly much smaller facility on my relatively recent visit.

Overlooking Bodenwerder, Germany. The River Weser is muddy and swollen due to heavy rainfall the previous day.

Thank you RR. There have been some nice photos in this thread - very enjoyable.

I will keep a "lookout" for some more photos of mine...

Nice one and I've witnessed the same :) Did you head out from Beadnell or elsewhere? FWIW IIRC our 2nd dive was on the WW2 wreck of the Somali.

We've dived there a few times - usually from Seahouses. Used to take our own RIB up, but these days, with the price of fuel, it's cheaper to book a hard boat, as well as more relaxing. This time the weather was a bit borderline for dive #2, so it was another attempt for seals, but they were less cooperative

Taken at the Essex Country Show at Barleylands, Billericay. I am not sure that I would want to be too close to a horse if it suddenly caught sight of a fire!

In Scotland we've progressed to fire engines powered by the internal combustion engine.

That's progress for you. Vauxhall Novas driven by horses. They'll be renaming them Trois Chevaux soon.
