Eqitable Life and EMAG

Not sure where it's best to post this, Equitable Life used to be one of the most active boards on TMF

I have just heard from EMAG (who have been pretty quiet for the last year or two):

From: Usha Waygood

Dear <my region> Equitable Life victims,

The campaign for full compensation for Equitable Life victims is still very much alive and kicking!

· EMAG and the APPG "All-Party Parliamentary Justice for Equitable Life Policyholders Group" held its most successful ever lobby of MPs in Parliament in late 2016. We had a heartening 48 MPs attend and a dozen more sent a representative.

· The membership of the APPG has been steadily on the rise with 218 MPs now supporting our campaign for full compensation making it the largest APPG in Parliament by a long shot!

· APPG is currently in dialogue with ministers and have more important events planned in advance of the Chancellor's Spring Budget Statement.

· Thousands of Equitable Life victims have been contacting their MPs recently to remind them of the missing £2.65 billion compensation. It is vital that we engage as many MPs as possible in our campaign right now and remind them that this is an active issue in THEIR constituency.

Have you been in touch with your MP recently about Equitable Life?

If yes, have you received a response?
If no, would you help us by emailing the two attachments and asking your MP to join the APPG?

Your help is essential to the campaign.

Thank you

Usha Waygood

Oh no - yet another re-run of the dead parrot sketch.
