So I did a straw poll of the rellies over xmas lunch. Not a single one of the under 30s sent any cards at all to their mates! Only to granny etc. Neither do they send them on birthdays etc. Preferring facebook (et al) messages. It looks to me like greetings cards is a dying industry, to follow the way of video rental and newspapers. Not one to LTBH then.

i think we oldies will stick with solid , real , comms with real spidery handwritten messages and real (plastic) £5 notes delivered by solid real postpeople through the letterbox .
and there are still a lot of us about .
and the under thirties will get old.
ps. i had a look at facebook several years ago - it was clear to me that many young people did it for a while but then stopped - just a passing fad?.
plan to add to my small holding next results .
