I wonder if anyone has been to this? It's a jazz club in a church basement in Camberwell. Looks like they get a lot of top-flight musicians through [technically, as opposed to household names as such]. Sounds like a pretty nice set up, for a slightly different casual night out over that side of town.

That sounds really cool. I haven't been there though.

From memory there is lots of jazz and jazz dance in the area.

C Jam - in Balham, in the Bedford (Wednesday) Pub downstairs, dancing / bands upstairs, monthly, and theres also one weekly without the band.
Swing Patrol - used to be a good ones London Bridge (Not sure if they found a new venue) and Waterloo (Wednesday) (dance classes)
The Hideaway in Streatham - Dinner and also there is a Jazz Café - good Jazz and Swing acts lots of variety.

There's more if you want to cross the river, Ronnie Scotts (soho), Boisdales (expensive - not all of them have live music), Cahoots

All of these have some dancing, spending on the night. All of them are fabulous .
