England - boost Borthwick - will they finally break out from Eddie's straight jacket
Wales - boost Gats but a bunch of OAPs with a few young uns
Ireland - World no 1 - look so good
France - World no 2 - building to World Cup in France
Italy - historic win against Wales - on a roll with Ange Capuozzo
Scotland - no consistency but will Greg bring back Finn?
It's kicking off this Saturday - remember Farrell no tackles now allowed below the shoulders.

I wouldn't go against the betting, and say it's between Ireland and France but I'm really hoping to see a more free flowing England now unshackled from Eddie. Also like to see Italy continue their improvement.

Not to be outdone by England banning "Swing Low..." WRU has now banned singing of "Delilah"

What happens when they translate the Marseillaise?
IMO, the finest of all the anthems in a sporting environment, rarely fails to raise a tingle....

AIUI they've banned Delilah's official use eg by male voice choirs, over a PA etc in the pre game show thing/during the game etc.
I can't see how they could ban a 74,500 crowd singing it at will.

What can possibly be wrong with a song about a bloke getting so cross he stabs his girlfriend? PC gone mad again.

I am not sure that Scotland has banned ‘Flower of Scotland’ but there is certainly a move against it.
Anyway the Calcutta Cup match on Saturday.

Three very good matches at the weekend (well, I enjoyed them all anyway) - even Italy made a good fist of it and probably had a few French supporters biting their nails.

Im not sure "even Italy" is a valid comment any longer - or at least currently. since the end of last 6N against Tier 1`opponenets Italy have
Beaten Wales
Beaten Australia
Got gubbed against SA
Came close against France
For comparison in the same time frame against tier 1 nations
England have:
lost to France
lost to Australia
beaten Australia twice
lost to Argentina
drawn with NZ
lost to SA
lost to scotland.
Wales have:
lost to italy
lost to SA twice
beaten SA
got gubbed by NZ
beat Argentina
lost to Australia
lost to ireland.
- and also lost to Georgia - Tier2

Ha, so Scotland resoundingly beat Wales despite not being very good in the first half. Finn Russell was outstanding.
