Well I can't recall a game of darts like Barney v 16 year old Luke Littler.

Littler took former world champion RVB to the cleaners to set up a semi final for himself.

Is darts really a sport?

Its a highly skilled activity of course. But a "sport"?

(appearances for darters on SPOTY is not evidence of "a sport" ;-) )

Oh God, who cares?

Is snooker a sport?
Is chess a sport?

Perhaps we should rename the board to Sports and Leisure (or something like that)

well FWIW, I "care". Not a "march in a rally" way, but its just not a sport. And yes - I agree with the point about snooker and chess. Of course they are not sports.

Young Mr Littler has a war on his hands now he's playing some real talent in Rob Cross. 1 set all and some stunning darts.

I've played darts in the past. The pub had a dartboard.

Not just that he made it to the final, but the manner in which he did it.

Alas t'was not to be.

He played well, particularly in the early to middle part of the game...but Luke Humphries was pretty relentless in the end.

I confess that I do not understand much about darts, but it was probably good for the young man to be left with a goal to strive for. He did fantastically well.

Saw Kate Burley yesterday talking about him.

Then went on to discuss his 21 year old girlfriend and suggested that they just hold hands and then said she was sure thats all they do.

In this day and age I thought that would be fround upon and if the tables were turned she would be throwing a wobbley.

Should newscaster be talking about a child's sex life.

She's turning into a bit of a horrid person and I find myself switching her off more and more.
