Re: Things to Do In Milton Keynes
I still recall the day in 1981 when my employer proudly announced to our assembled employees that we were all going to be relocated to Milton Keynes (from an office overlooking Regent's Park).
The groan in response was audible. I did not groan however. I got another job.

Re: Things to Do In Milton Keynes
Once upon a time I worked in Newport Pagnell.
I was surprised to discover that this was a real place and not just a motorway service station, and very nice it was. The best bit was driving past the Aston Martin factory on the way in.
MK was the nearest big town, and I very much liked it. It is a brilliant place to cycle, there are substantial canalside walks, a good shopping centre, and the National Museum of Computing and Bletchley Park.
When we closed down the Newport Pagnell facility my place of work moved to Brixton*, so perhaps I have slightly rose coloured spectacles.

*I used to cycle through Brixton on my daily commute. The day everything was still smouldering was particularly interesting
