Hi Folks,
Pre-pandemic we went on several river cruises, in Europe, with Viking. Normally booked over a year ahead meant we would take out annual travel insurance with All Clear, who specialise in people with medical conditions. Never had any problems but never made a claim.
The last cruise was in 2018, over five years ago, and we are looking to go again in 2024. I'll get a quote from All Clear but wondered if anyone has recommendation for other companies.
I'm 74 with cancer history, clear with annual checkups and recently diagnosed with a slightly enlarged prostate (old man's condition), Mrs B is 65 with high blood pressure and Barrett's oesophagus (no longer being monitored).
Why annual insurance? We could not book a single trip more than twelve months in advance, I don't know if that changed. We plan to do more frequent small trips Europe/UK so annual might make more sense anyway.
Any comments welcome,
Ray.

I currently have a policy with Saga insurance, - over 70 with some medical conditions, inc BP. It includes my wife on annual policy which allows for multiple trips and either of us can travel wherever independently.
