Samsung tablet out of memory

Internal memory very low so moving to SD card the apps where I am able. I have found instruction to set default for downloads to SD card, but am unable to set the created folder on the card to be the default. Instructions here: Setting your apps to download to your SD card
Open the My Files app.
Navigate to your SD card , and create a folder called Apps.
Tap on the icon with f our horizontal lines on the top right.
Tap Settings.
Under Select Directories, tap Set Home Directory.
Select the Apps folder you just created on your SD card.

My problem is I do not have icon with 4 horizontal lines on the top right. I have 3 dots vertically in some settings, but this does not enable setting up home directory.
