Microsoft 365 Home

#18299

Postby Andy46 » December 27th, 2016, 8:29 pm

Hi,

I'm thinking about buying Microsoft 365 Home. I'm slightly confused though. On amazon the more superior Home version which includes Outlook & a 5 user licence costs £39. The personal version which doesn't include Outlook and only has a 1 user licence costs £42? How can that be? Is this legitimate as I also notice that on the Microsoft website the Home version costs £79. How do amazon sell it cheaper?

Thanks

Hi,
I can't tell you whether a particular deal is legit or not, but legit MS Office 365 home 5 user seems to be discounted quite often. I had subscribed through full price MS around 80, and some months ago bought a years subscription for somewhere about 50 from an offer at Tesco.

Is the £39 Amazon subscription for 6 months, not 12?

I just got a 12m 'Home' subscription on eBay for £30. Bargains can be had there, but check the description and seller very carefully!

Amazon also sell third party products not dissimilar to ebay. So check that is not a student only version.
