Ebay account details

Background: I have an eBay a/c with a linked Paypal a/c.

I bought a bit of kit on eBay, paid for with Paypal. The delivery came with a consignment slip, which had on it it a landline number of mine that is now obsolete. But I can't find where the seller got that number on either my eBay or Paypal accounts. Anybody got a clue where I should be looking?

Is this definitely the first time you've purchased from this seller?

Assuming you are logged into your eBay a/c...

Move the mouse over "Hello genou. v" at the top left and in the popup that appears click on Account settings.

Then click on Personal information and look down the info there for your phone number (under Contact details).

If that's not it (or even if it is) then click on Addresses and look under Delivery address.

Ebay appears to have:
Account Settings - Personal Info - Contact Info
and also
Account Settings - Addresses - Postal Addresses

both of which have phone numbers ( and on checking mine .... a good need of a prune!)

Paypal has:
Settings - Account - Phone Numbers and appears to be able to hold as many as you might like

There might also be locally stored stuff in your browser's autofill settings which could require a clean out (I'm often surprised by things that it has held on to)

Thanks to all. I had found a phone number under Ebay Personal Info, and didn't look under Addresses, because Addresses aren't phone numbers, but there it was. Sorted.
