I have a small cigar box and want to glue a metal clasp to the wooden lid.
Can anyone advise on a good glue for this task?
Thanks

I'd have thought a good two part epoxy would be best, such as Araldite if its still around.

I've found that the Wilko Rapid-Epoxy two-mix is very good at this sort of stuff, and good value at £3 -

It goes a long way, and keeps well too, so well worth giving a go.

Thanks for your help guys.
We don't have a Wilcos round our way so I went with a Gorilla Epoxy resin.
