Simple Query

#23556

Postby XFool » January 16th, 2017, 5:09 pm

A very simple query for those of us unfamiliar with SA. If you do your SA online will HMRC remind you - off line - if you need to make any payment. Or is the onus on you to check your account online.
TIA

If you do you SA online then you will know immediately that there is tax to pay, so I don't think there's any further reminder.

Be careful with this though, the sum they show immediately upon completion of your SA does not take into account any payments on account and gives you a figure assuming PoA is £0 !

Wait 72 hours and check back, you'll get the info you need then.

There is a space early in the SA on-line process to give your e-mail address. I have never added this so do not know if they let you know or not.

Mike
