Best browser for HMRC
I did my tax return on line last year for the first time, with my son's help, and after I had printed it out I noticed that some of the HMRC text was garbled. I have noticed this before when printing out docs. from their website. I can't remember which browser I was using at the time but I now have a new HP laptop which comes with Microsoft Edge. Has anyone used this for their tax return or HMRC forms? I haven't had problems with this browser when printing out guidance notes. However, I was unable to get onto a Selftrade account and they say it is because of a compatability issue with Microsoft Edge so I need to get this sorted before I file my return. I'm going to instal Google Chrome; can I be certain that this will be compatible with HMRC?

Re: Best browser for HMRC
Thanks, Aleister. Will go ahead then, assuming I can manage to install Chrome without coming up against terminology/instructions I don't understand

Used Chrome for longer than I can remember with no problems with HMRC tax returns
