Have a smallish holding in VWRL as first ever foray into an ETF. With the demise of Digital Look I tend to follow things on the FT website for my portfolio. It takes some familiarisation but is a nice (also free) method.
Regarding VWRL, on clicking on it for further details, it says UK ISA not available. Am I correct in assuming this just means that Vanguard don't organise an ISA for you for VWRL (I'm aware it's based in Irish Republic) or is it actually not a legal holding in a UK-based ISA?

I would take that to mean it has reporting status in both Germany and the UK.

Thanks both. I take the ft website table to mean that Vanguard themselves don't do an ISA for this particular ETF. I already have it in an ISA but didn't want unexpected tax complication at some future date.

I'm pretty sure Vanguard let you invest in VWRL in a Vanguard ISA!

I have got VFEM in an ISA with iWeb (and previously TD Direct), and VEVE in a SIPP with Vanguard (and previously AJ Bell). I would be amazed if you could not have VWRL in an ISA with Vanguard or any stockbroker that offers an ISA.
