I don't know if I can share an off-topic anecdote here, but this reminds me of one of the stupidest comments I ever heard.

I was working in logistics, basically moving big, heavy or awkward stuff from A to B, whether domestic or international. We contracted with transport companies to provide the equipment and our safety team would oversee loading and discharge at either end.

One day there were reports that a big load had come off a lorry in Holland, as it went round a roundabout. I was trying to find out what had happened, and our safety officer, who attended the load-out, came up with the immortal words, "I didn't think it looked safe..."
