As noted we are looking at the board from the side, given that the dark square is in the right hand corner. But we don't know whether white is playing from left to right or right to left.

Let's assume that White is playing from left to right. Square a1 is top left. We can then win by both c8=Q and c8=R (c8 is towards the top on the far right.

Now assume the White is playing from right to left. Square a1 is now bottom right. Again c8=Q is a winner as is c8=B (This time c8 is on the far left, up a bit)

So 4 solutions, 2 of which are the same in notation.
