Sea level rise baked in

...scientists found that Greenland's ice sheet is now in such a state of disequilibrium, and has become so out of tune with the Arctic climate, that it won't be able to sustain its mass. For the physics to add up, the sheet is now destined to correct itself by shedding a further 3.3% of its volume. That's even if the world stopped burning fossil fuels today.
This equates to 110 quadrillion tonnes of ice, enough to drive up average global sea levels by at least 10 in.
"It is a very conservative rock-bottom minimum. Realistically, we will see this figure more than double within this century,

Indeed, it is quite possible that we or at least our children could see 30" of sea level rise.

So, those bijou beach huts in Mudeford may not be such a great investment after all https://newatlas.com/environment/greenland-ice-melt-sea-level-rise/

Need a 10m+ rise for our place to be a Thames waterfront residence. If all of Greenland's ice melted sea levels would rise around 7m. Melting sea ice such as the Arctic ice cap does not change sea level because the ice displaces its volume. If all glaciers and ice sheets melted, global sea level would rise by more 60 meters. But even then chunks of the UK would still be above sea-level, no 'water world'. Can/will happen, sooner or later, another ice age potentially avoiding a peak water level for a while. Ending of a ice age, as per a winter thaw, accelerates the closer to the end of the melt that gets. All just part of a living earth.

Even if the UK went to zero carbon production, China and India would negate that within a couple of years (migration of a population number comparable to the UK's population moving from farming/land to middle-class cities every couple of years).
