Providing the history of your works by posting a lot of links to the TMF boards is all very fine -- except that it is a resource that we know will disappear in a couple of months time. So, can I suggest and recommend that you get those and any other such posts archived into the Internet Archive, so that they will be available forever, and then provide a link to the archive instead. Here's how:
- Go to the post you want on TMF and copy its address.
- Go to http://archive.org and paste the address into the Wayback Machine field at the top.
- If it says it doesn't have that page archived but it's available on the web then click on Save this url in the Wayback Machine.
- If, OTOH, it gives you a calendar of when the page has already been saved, select the most recent one.
- Now (whichever of the two "ifs" happened) copy the address you are now on and use that to paste into your post(s) here.
