Baby record book?

#20980

Postby Slarti » January 7th, 2017, 6:00 pm

When S junior was born we had a book in which Mrs S recorded all of his milestones and other trivia, such as injections and illnesses.
We are sure that it was a purpose designed book that was bought from somewhere by my Mam.

We have looked in Smiths and the greeting card shops, in town, and I have done some Googling, with no real success.

Has anybody seen anything like this recently? and if you have, where?

Replying to myself and for the assistance of others.

Mrs S found where she'd put S Jnr's book and it is a very functional, plain Medicard book with a cadusceus on the cover.
The publisher has gone out of business, from Googling and the nearest thing we could find is https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/144 ... UTF8&psc=1

So it is on order, even though it is American, as a naming day present for her new great niece.

The parents probably do all that sort of thing online now, but anything for a quiet life.

Yes, but none of them seemed to do the sort of things Mrs S wanted, injections, illnesses and other practical stuff.
In fact we had seen a couple of those in local shops and been well disappointed in their general twee lack of practicality.

They'll probably have been issued with one of these "Red Books" (unless that authority uses the electronic version):
