I thought it might be useful to have a single 'Week Ahead' thread on this Company News board, hopefully to be updated by me some time over each weekend, and where a look-ahead to some of the expected news-releases for each subsequent week can be recorded on a regular basis.
I plan on keeping these weekend updates covering only major 'Week Ahead' news releases, such as Interims or Finals, as going beyond that high-level approach is likely to be too demanding, and as I'm already gathering most of the information for things like Interims and Finals in a side-task for my own portfolio management use, then a weekly flow-down into an update to this thread is hopefully likely to be something that I should be able to maintain without too much additional work.
Having discussed this proposal with a board moderator, it's been agreed that whilst input from other users regarding any major news releases that might get missed by the weekly-updates would be welcome and appreciated, this thread is not to be used for wider discussions beyond noting major 'Week Ahead' expected news items, and that any broader discussions should be carried out elsewhere, either on company-level threads, or one of the more appropriate discussion boards elsewhere on the site.
I will try to post on Sundays with what I hope to be a useful Monday-to-Friday dated-template of expected prominent news in the 'Week-Ahead' from some of the more regular main-market companies that are discussed on other boards around the site.
