Platform supporting "new style" linkers?
Concerned by the 20+ duration of my linker funds, I am researching constructing a 1-10 year rolling linker ladder. Putting aside the wisdom of investing in something with a guaranteed -ve return (at least if held to or close to maturity), I am struggling to find a platform to support online trading of linkers. HL and ATS seems to offer some support for gilts and a few linkers - but in the latter case, this seems to be limited to the "old style" linker. To get the coverage I need, I would want to buy the "new style 3-month lag" versions.
I assume the lack of support is because the new style are traded on a real clean price basis and the RPI (and accrued interest) adjustment is made on settlement. Probably something that doesn't fir their computer systems?
Any suggestions? Last time I looked at DMO/Computershare it seemed archaic and expensive.

I didn't get on very well at all. I'm sure I've looked at Gilts with a view to buying in the past, but the whole category seems to have disappeared. Corp bonds are still available, and I hold a few prefs, but coudn't find ANY Gilts , IL or otherwise. I have emailed them.
They have changed their site (and CFDs were removed) so perhaps bonds are well hidden...

From HSDL earlier;
Dear Great Beast
Thank you for your e-mail.
Gilts can only be purchasesd via telephone on 03457 22 55 25, if you are online registered to online commisson will be honoured.
Not all securities are ISA eligible, you can however, research this on most financial web sites such as Google Finance.
I hope I have been able to help you with your query.
For your information we also have a Web Chat facility where you can speak to us live. This can be found on the welcome page once you have logged into your account. This is a secure connection so we can talk account specifics if required; you may find it more convenient to use this service as you will receive our immediate attention.
Kind Regards

Re: Platform supporting "new style" linkers?
and today - after a follow up
We do not accept Guilt [sic] trades online due to the nature of the investments. We need to ask questions regarding the investment before accepting the instruction. For this reason we request you call to trade in them
But I can buy (at least some) corporate bonds no problem. Perhaps UK Treasury stuff is seen as inherently 'high risk' ?

Re: Platform supporting "new style" linkers?
I hold a new style linker in my Youinvest SIPP. They cannot trade bonds online, so I bought them over the telephone. I have not checked, but I expect that it would be same with iWeb, but I have not checked. For ISAs , Fixed Income Investor gives:
Q: Can I put bonds in my ISA account? A: Inland Revenue rules state that in order to be eligible for holding within an ISA, a bond must fulfill the following criteria: Firstly the bond must have a life of five years or more at the time of purchase (without a holder's option for early redemption). Secondly, the bond should be listed on a recognised stock exchange, or the bonds must be issued by a company which is itself listed (or a major subsidiary thereof).
