I've just returned from a very enjoyable trip to Malta and Gozo, and the memory of cloudless blue skies and temperatures in the mid-20's is already haunting me.
Whilst I was in Gozo I visited a starkly beautiful place called Dwejra, which has some fascinating rock formations. A stroll along the coast was the ideal antidote to the miserable depths of an English November:
I ventured into this impressive gorge while I was there - it was only a couple of hundred yards from where I took the previous photo:
But there's a bit of a mystery attached. Although Dwejra is a fairly well-known place, and by no means off the beaten track, I would virtually guarantee that nobody has ever been to this particular gorge before.
And I would 100% guarantee that nobody has ever photographed it.
So for all you people who like a puzzle, how could this be?
