Many might know me from the MotleyFool BB's. But thought to start this topic here, as some people tell me not to touch P2P with a barge pole, but others seem supportive. Any views here?

Mull seems there's already been a stab at discussing this. viewtopic.php?f=11&t=752&hilit=p2p and a quick search for p2p found a few more hits, does it sit better within Investment strategies than bank accounts I'm not sure.

Some people, very clever people, have said exactly the same thing about investing in general!
As part of a diversified portfolio, I don't see any difference between P2P and shares and bonds.
One of my most trusted share allocations, years ago, was Lloyds. Enough said!
