Reporting Spam

User BennieJeansg has posted three spam messages (his/her/them first three posts). I thought it might be a good idea to report him/her/they to the powers that be. However, I couldn't find how to do that. If such a function already exists it should be more prominent, and if it doesn't, it should (IMHO).

The site software doesn't have a specific 'Report User' function, but the mods will be quite happy to be notified about spammy users via the 'Report Post' button that can be found towards the top-right of all posts -



Using that button offers an additional opportunity to enter some words related to the nature of your post-report, so in the case of this particular new user raising a number of spammy posts in quick succession, I would normally report all the posts individually, just to help save the mods some time in mopping them all up, and also enter some words to describe the spammy nature of the new user, from which point they're usually dealt with quite quickly once the mods are made aware of the problem.

I can report that this method works well as I have reported multiple spammers and they have been removed shortly afterwards thanks to the hard work of our moderators
