This site has a 'Testing 123' board where users can test out posts to see how they'll look on the site before posting formally elsewhere -
https://www.lemonfool.co.uk/viewforum.php?f=28
Longer-term members may well be aware of the proposed use-case for the above board, and also might be aware that any test-posts created by users will be regularly flushed-out by the site software, usually leaving it in an 'empty' state.
Whilst I think there's a large number of users who might well be aware of the above, with knowledge of discussions around the time the 'Testing 123' board was first set up, I think there would be a benefit of a 'Sticky Post' sitting on the board that wasn't automatically cleaned out, that clearly stated the intended-use of the board, and giving some guidance on the automatic post-removal process, so that any new members who might not be aware of the above can be kept informed of the usefulness of the board, which is especially the case with newer members who might well have a higher need of it than more-established users.
Can someone please look into generating some sort of sticky guidance-post on the above 'Testing 123' board, and check that it won't get deleted with the automatic flushing process?
Cheers,
