Slow response

Is anyone else finding the site very slow to respond today? I first noticed it early yesterday morning, then it seemed to improve later. But now it's back again, with multi-second response times to some/most clicks.

If it's just me I guess I need to look closer to home.

Scott.

Me too. I was thinking the latency might be my internet service but other sites load as quickly as ever.

worse just now
This site can’t be reached
The connection was reset.
Try:

Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
Running Windows Network Diagnostics
ERR_CONNECTION_RESET

also checked with https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/lem ... proto=http

Obviously back in now, perhaps even slower.

Noticed today this website is particularly slow. No other website I use is affected. But today, this is worse than usual.

Turning on Inspect->Network in Firefox, and also the HTTP Header Live add-on, the issue seems to be on the first GET for any page, e.g. the request to get, say, https://www.lemonfool.co.uk/index.php itself. Once that's returned all of the various components (stylesheets, scripts, graphics, etc) just whizz in.

Given that (and that ping also whizzes along) it doesn't look like any kind of network error or bottleneck, nor an problem with the lemonfool HTTP server itself, but rather either a php engine problem or maybe an sql one.

Both are at the server end so there's nothing anyone here can do, except that possibly Stooz could put in a support request ticket to get them to take a look into it.... ;)

Nothing to do with money, problems like this are only solved by some magic incantations and the use of some very naughty words and threats of violence
