You're more likely to win £100 or £50 than £25.

I had noticed that too. Perhaps £25 prizes need to go away in favour of bigger prizes? Back in the 1960s I bought a bike with my £25 win. Now it barely buys me a bottle of wine.

Amazing! "This is the second smallest holding ever to win one of the £1million prizes from National Savings and Investments.

In 2004, a £1million jackpot winner from Newham in London won with £17 in Premium Bonds, purchased in February 1959."

Biggest ever win after 60 years plus - the OH won 5 prizes totalling £1200 incl. a 1k winner. As usual I trail well behind as in most matters at 3 prizes totalling £175.

On the four full holdings this month:

Holding 1 £225 - 1x£100, 2x£50, 1 x£25
Holding 2 £150 - 1x£100, 1x£50
Holding 3 £600 - 5x£100, 2x£50
Holding 4 (my holding): £200 - 2x£100

I'm fairly sure that the 7 prizes won by Holding 3 is the most number of prizes I've seen one of the holding take in a single month.

My winnings over the last 12 months now equate to 6.75% after taking account of higher rate tax thanks pretty much all down to winning £675 in the February draw.

So my 'record' 8 prizes in a month still stands? :)

All YL family holdings had winnings in March draw. Equivalent annual rate would be 3.64% for March prize winnings.

£250 on FH.

Interesting to read that it's now more likely to win £50 or £100 than a £25 prize. That's certainly been my experience in recent months - no £25 prizes at all.

For quite a long time, from about 2008 to about 2022, with a few exceptions (a couple of £50s and a couple of £100s), £25 prizes is all I got :-)

My wife got a message from NS saying there was a secure message for her on the web site. We are away at the moment and she does not have her password with her so she cannot access the message until we get home in a week or so.

I looked at the list of high value winners and can see a £10k winner in our county with holding value and date which could her account. I have not said anything to her about this as it may not be her account and I do not want to cause any disappointment. Will follow up when she has checked her messages!

If it is hers it would be on a £15k purchase made in December last year.

If you or she (or anyone else!) has her holder number, you can put it in the prize checker website and see what's been won.

Scott.

Just as well I did not say anything, the £10k winner was not my wife. She did have a decent win of £500, but I would have preferred the £10k!
