A good month for me (max holding): I get a dinner for one at Cliveden and £5 to spare.
My birthday too this month, but I'm the far end of the month, so it's the one with the sting in the tail (which I hope my PBs are not).
Currently showing at return of 2.75% for this calendar year to date: not to be sniffed at, I think.

Still doesn't beat my past record of 8 prizes on ONE account. :)

I've been rumbled!

Way back in the 1950s when premium bonds were introduced, my parents bought me 2 bonds, and theyve been sitting around pretty much forgotten about ever since. Some years ago I bought a full 50k holding.
I got a letter from NS&I a few weeks ago to highlight the fact that I was £2 over the limit and had two accounts, so they would credit my bank account with the excess and leave me with the 50k in one account. Which they have now done.

I'm amazed they noticed.

Lucky you didn't win a million, then have the prize invalidated because you were "cheating".

Similar here - I tried several times to use my existing bondholder number when I went to buy some online, but it insisted on giving me a new one.

About 8 months after I hit £50k I got a letter and a cheque for £12.

As for winnings - this month I got £275, but MrsF got nothing, both on full holdings. didn't look at the breakdown though.

I don't have a full holding but have an odd £1 dating back to the 1950s or early sixties.

As a matter of interest, I wonder if it's possible to buy, for example £99 worth to keep things tidy? I know there is a minimum investment amount, but does that also mean purchases have to be multiples of this minimum?

You can only buy in multiples of IIRC £25. Otherwise I would have just topped up to £50k
