Marcus Increase Interest Rate
Underlying rate moves from 0.9% to 1.05% plus 0.1% bonus making 1.15% for instant access.

I had an recent email from the Coventry Building Society with a generous rate increase from 0.8% to 1.39% from June 1st. It's a limited access account (2 withdrawals per year without penalty) but a good sign that rates are moving upwards (take note National Savings ....)

Another rise from Marcus, now 1.3% including 0.25% bonus rate for a year.

Note that you have to log in to your Marcus account and elect to receive the bonus!
The same applies to Saga savings accounts, which are operated by Marcus

Inflation affects people in different ways depending on your life style.
I don't have a mortgage, I don't drive a lot of miles, price increases don't affect me to much cos I don't spend much. So inflation isn't so much of a big deal......
