Premium Bonds paper v checker June 2022

#506546

Postby Wuzwine » June 11th, 2022, 7:44 pm

Hi all,

I checked my premium bond in the checker and then entered Mrs Wuzwine's number and it reported she had won £75 3 x £25.

As she does it all on paper, she got a letter yesterday showing £25.

I have just checked online again and it says £150 6x £25!!!

I think there is a software upgrade tonight and Tuesday night. I have suggested she wait until Monday and the then contact them. I read somehere that there was a problem last February 2022 with prizes not being awarded. This was corrected later.

I think this is not very good, as how do those of us who are paperless know we got the right prizes?

Anyone had this problem this month?

Wuz

I try and do as much digitally as I can (this includes my PB holdings)
paper based sytems involve humans and here are a lot of dopey ones around
I won 2x25 in June and they were paid out on the 8th

Sorry all,
Ignore my post.

My wife found that the £150 was correct! I had told her we had both won £75 each, but I must have entered ny number twice!

Apologies all round especially to Ernie! Mrs Wuzwine give me the look, but she doesn't tolerate Fools.

Poor Wuz
