Hi FOlks,
OakNorth have increased the rate on the Notice Accounts and now it happens automatically, like Shawbrook Bank, rather than having to open a new one and transfer it, which was easy enough to do. Less work for us and I suspect less work for them.

No, he's referring to this Shawbrook Bank viewtopic.php?p=503209#p503209 and this Shawbrook Bank viewtopic.php?p=520231#p520231
Yes, the long time "Shawbrook effect" finally seems to be catching, I've had a number of interest-rate-on-existing-a/cs-raised in recent weeks, including Shawbrook, Cynergy, Oaknorth, Paragon, Charter Savings & Kent Reliance.

P.S. And talk about posting selective reviews ... the Shawbrook link above is to only 1 star reviews! If we look at the whole figures then we find:
https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.shawbrook.co.uk Excellent: 80%
https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/oaknorth.co.uk?stars=1 Excellent: 78%
Oh sorry, that last link was just the 1 star reviews for Oaknorth.....

Hi Folks,
I think that covers it. I spread my money around keeping the £85K limit in mind. I was a 'rate chaser' when it was really worth it. Apart from the Icelandic Bank, although that wasn't the disaster it could have been, I've never had any problems with any of them. Some were easier than others but that's life.
Ray.
