Be wary driving a diesel inside the M25 from 2024

The Ultra Low Emission Zone which imposes a £15.50 daily charge on all but the newest diesels will be extended to all London Boroughs by the end of 2023. The proposed London Boundary charge and daily charge for all other than electric cars have been dropped though.

The article has been amended
Tne charge (another clobber the motorist move) is £12.50, not £15.50 as originally stated

Presumably this applies to all diesel vehicles not just cars?
If so it is little more than a money-raid on businesses as there are few types of business that don't need to use diesel vehicles, either to have supplies delivered to them or to deliver their product, and usually both.
I guess 'services' businesses like accountants and self-employed computer programmers will be only peripherally affected.

In that case I recommend upgrading to a trackball mouse
I did about 10 years ago. Much easier to use, lowers the pressure on the wrist and they take up a lot less space (because you don't need to move the mouse).

Having seen the emissions from a Heron, I think Storks would also be banned from the ULEZ.
Of course the mouse could run on Cheese Diesel, but then it would probably not move much at all.[1]
