TLF thanks the OP for their well-meant advice on avoiding potential future power cuts due to supply shortages. However, having spoken with a qualified electrician, the Lemon Fool Administration team is of the opinion that anyone following the suggestions could risk their own life and/or the lives of others. The recommendations do not adhere to the UK's BS7671 Wiring Regulations (Paragraph 551.7.6 - 2018 Edition) and may also contravene Part B of the Building Regulations. Therefore, we have deleted the topic. This is an action we are taking to ensure safety and does not reflect on the intent and spirit of generosity of the OP. Thanks for your understanding. Clariman.
