I received an email from Trainline.com last night, which if nothing else may serve as a reminder/prod for anyone planning to book rail tickets for future journeys...
Of course - one wouldn't have to book such tickets through tarinline.com etc... Im sure many of us appreciate advance purchse tickets are often cheaper - this is just a double prod to get them at current price bases rather than increased ones from a few weeks time etc.

Heads up: the annual fare rise on 5th March means ticket prices will go up by 5.9%*.
But don’t forget, you can buy tickets up to 12 weeks in advance!
So, if you’re planning a trip, book before midnight on 4th March to lock in a cheaper price.
