Unification of Unilever's legal structure posted on Company News Board

Unilever today announced plans to unify its Group legal structure under a single parent company, Unilever PLC, creating a simpler company with greater strategic flexibility, that is better positioned for future success.

And later;

Unilever's dividend policy, with the dividend declaration currency remaining euros and payment in sterling or U.S. dollars continuing for those shareholders who choose it

I hold these in my HYP, and I'm sure others here do too. I topped up my ULVR holdings recently. They sit alongside TATE in the sector, which I also topped up recently too, and between them they make up 5.9% in capital value terms of my HYP.

That eliminates the possibility of going Dutch, which put some HYPers off ULVR a little while back.

That would have meant elimination from the FTSE indices, which for some would have meant ineligibility.
