For those that use virtual portfolios to keep track of their investments, the name and ticker should have been automatically updated. I use the FT portfolio (free registration required) and there the name and ticker change has been applied retrospectively. Holdings, purchases and dividend payments are now listed with the new name, irrespective of the date they were made.
Even my old DigitalLook portfolio has updated the name and ticker for my holdings and the purchases made before the name change (and yes the old DL portfolio is still working).
