Including this bit;

The proposed interim dividend for FY24 of 13.56 pence per share, totalling approximately £52.1 million, was approved by the Board on 24 January 2024 and has not been included as a liability as at 30 November 2023. This dividend will be paid on 1 March 2024 to those members on the register at the close of business on 2 February 2024.

I hold these in my HYP, and think others hereabouts do too, so this may be of interest here.

Well those results didn't go down all that well Ian. 7.5% down on the day.

Thanks for your input. I know. I’m practising masterly inactivity with my IGG holdings and doing nothing. ;)

I hold and am doing nothing as well.

However the increase in dividend is only 2% more than the one last March, which is sub-inflationary, so there is an element of disappointment in this announcement.

I purchased in 2021, and the dividend has increased every year since so perhaps I shouldn't complain too much, when I look at some of the others lurking in my HYP which have cut or held their dividends.

I've held IGG since April 2012, also buying in 2017 and 2022. It looks to have done alright on the capital front at the moment, only my last purchase is under-water, the current value appears to be up about a third on the purchase costs, and xirr says the rate of return has been 10.5%, which I bet is better than a lot of my HYP shares. It's also returned just under half it's current value in dividends, which appear to have mostly increased (or been held) year on year. So the current fall isn't worrying me too much at the moment...

I'm finding most dividend increases are sub inflationary. I've done rather well from IGG, with an XIRR of 10.78% since Sept 2011 to the last reckoning in December, and dividends per share which have more than doubled.
