There is the funding for MOU-4.......and not via a placing.

Directors sell the shares to Novum......loan the company the money......and then Novum will of couse sell those shares back as part of the fund raise in future, when then Prospectus is done.

So anyone hoping for a placing of shares, is now screwed as no placing ahead of MOU-4.

Vert movel way of avoiding a dilutive placing at this time, whilst fast tracking MOU-4

Predator Oil & Gas drills appraisal in Morocco

July 6, 2023

Alex Procyk

Predator Oil & Gas Holdings PLC on June 29 spudded the MOU-4 well in the Guercif license onshore Morocco.

The well is part of Predator’s targeting of shallow (Tertiary) and deep (Triassic) gas. It is being drilled by the Star Valley rig 101 which is currently setting 9 ⅝-in. casing.

The Guercif license comprises four exploration permits. It covers an area of 7,269 sq km and lies about 250 km due east of and on trend with Rharb basin where shallow gas production has been established by SDX Energy PLC for several years.

Guercif has been very lightly explored with only four deep exploration wells drilled by Elf in 1972 (GRF-1), Phillips in 1979 (TAF-1X), ONAREP (the forerunner of ONHYM) in 1985 and 1986 (MSD-1 and KDH-1) and 2 shallow stratigraphic wells drilled by BRPM for coal exploration in the 1950’s.

Historical exploration focus was entirely on the Jurassic and w

....... These are very big numbers indeed and prove that those with confidence in PRD who have tripled the share price since the turn of the year may well have been vindicated. Whilst there is still plenty of evaluation to be done the rigless testing which is about to start could be highly rewarding for Predator.
Predator is in the Bucket List as it screams out the constituents of a successful exploration campaign, not to mention the massive enthusiasm of founder Paul Griffiths. Nothing is a given with a huge amount of work to be done but just think what could happen if a wealthy partner arrived on board… ...........

Is this Predator ready to strike?

“…After concluding a £10m placing to fund continued exploration, and new results expected soon, is the share due another run?…”

Predator Oil & Gas Holdings (LON:PRD) made confident progress this summer towards realising its goal of helping meet Morocco’s urgent demand for gas, tripling its share price through June and July. After concluding a £10m placing to fund continued exploration, and new results expected soon, is this share due another run?

PRD holds a 75pc working interest in the Guercif Petroleum Agreement, prospective for tertiary gas, located some 10 kilometres from the Maghreb-Europe Gas Pipeline, which supplied Morocco, Spain and Portugal until its closure in 2021. The company also has interests in Trinidad, where it wan...........................................

Abu Dhabi crown prince directs oil giant ADNOC to further explore ‘international growth'

Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan issues directive during a meeting with board's executive committee

Staff Writer, ZAWYA

September 29, 2023

State-backed Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), which is one of the world's biggest oil and gas producers, is expected to make further investments to expand its global presence.

Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has directed the oil giant to "explore further opportunities for international growth", according to the Abu Dhabi Media Office.

The crown prince issued the directive on Thursday when he chaired a meeting of the Executive Committee of the ADNOC Board of Directors at the company's headquarters.

During the meeting, the top official reviewed the progress of ADNOC's carbon management strategy and its plans to double its carbon capture capacity to 10 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of carbon dioxide by 2030.

The oil company recently announced the final investment decision to develop its 1.5 mtpa Habshan carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) project.

The company, which is pursuing global expansion plans that include acquisition of assets overseas, announced last year that it would invest $150 billion over five years to support an "accelerated growth strategy" for oil and gas production. ADNOC is reportedly looking to expand its presence in African and European markets.

In January, the firm said it had allotted $15 billion to fund projects that include carbon capture, new CO2 absorption technology, investments in hydrogen and renewables, as well as electrification.

Morocco: Israeli company has eye on ‘large reservoir’ of natural gas in desert

The CEO of Israel’s public energy company NEOMED energy, Yossi Abu, has expressed its readiness to invest in natural gas exploration in the Moroccan Sahara.

“Morocco will become an energy hub in the future because of its stability and the diversity of sources it relies on,” said Abu. “The Moroccan Sahara is a large reservoir of natural gas.” He revealed that the company is working on attracting capital to invest more in the field of energy in Morocco.

“We are currently investing in three areas: natural gas, renewable energies and green hydrogen,” he was quoted as saying by Russia Today. “We believe that Morocco has huge potential for discovering natural gas, especially in the Moroccan Sahara, and we want to be an important player in Morocco, and we are coming to invest. Morocco is ideally positioned to become a global energy centre, given its stability, geography and proximity to Europe.”

NEOMED energy, added its CEO................

Predator Oil & Gas Holdings Plc

("Predator" or the "Company" and together with its subsidiaries the "Group")

Update on gas offtake, development financing and rigless testing

Highlights

· Discussions opened to sell the Company's share of gas at the well head

· Financing options for the Company's share of future potential CNG development costs being discussed with preferred parties

· Rigless testing programme amended to test MOU-3 first

· High impact MOU-3 well to lead commercial negotiations for offtake of gas

Predator Oil & Gas Holdings Plc (LSE: PRD), the Jersey based Oil and Gas Company with near-term gas operations focussed on Morocco, announces an update for the Guercif Compressed Natural Gas ("CNG") project.

The Company has opened exploratory discussions with a group focussed on the downstream energy business to potentially sell its share of gas produced at the well head subject to an approved CNG development plan.

In order to accelerate the timing of substantive negotiations for the sale of its share of gas, subject to an approved Declaration of Commerciality, the Company has decided to amend its rigless testing programme. MOU-3 will now be the first well to be tested. This will establish the potential to maximise gas flow rates for the purpose of setting commercial parameters for the sale of the Company's share of potential gas produced to the present and future CNG industrial market irrespective of pre-drill production profile constraints imposed by its initial "Proof of CNG Concept" strategy.

The Company has been waiting for over three weeks for an in-country wireline logging unit. A perforating depth control (PDC) log is required to depth correlate the perforating points with a similar log run before the casing was set during well completion. Critically this ensures that perforations are aligned with the reservoir sand intervals to be tested.

As a result of this delay in the provision of a third party service the current slot for using Sandjet as the means of perforating has passed and therefore this phase of the testing programme is now being re-scheduled.

In order not to delay further it has been decided to test MOU-3 and MOU-1 using conventional perforating guns.

The Company is confident that the testing programme will deliver the results necessary to progress commercial negotiations for the offtake of its share of future potential CNG gas from the well head.

Rigless testing MOU-3 using conventional perforating guns is currently forecast to begin on or before 16 October 2023, assuming that the wireline logging unit is released from its present contract on or before 10 October 2023. The Company will provide an update if there is any change to this date.

A follow-up Sandjet testing programme will take place later to test other reservoir intervals that are likely to respond better to the Sandjet perforating technique compared to conventional perforating guns.

The Company is also in discussion with several parties regarding the financing of the CNG development. Upon achieving acceptable financial terms funds set aside in the Company's strong balance sheet would be re-purposed for follow-up appraisal drilling.

Paul Griffiths, Executive Chairman of Predator, commented:

"Following the completion of drilling and prior to the execution of the rigless testing programme the Company has had a period of time to integrate the results from its MOU-1, MOU-2, MOU-3 and MOU-4 wells and mature its understanding of the structures holding possible gas accumulations. On this basis the MOU-3 well and structure is now defined as the focal point for a potential CNG development hub. As a result this well has been promoted to the first well in the rigless testing programme.

Good progress has been made on opening discussions for the offtake of gas on a larger scale than was previously envisaged by the "Proof of CNG Pilot Concept" strategy.

Financing options are being crystallised which will allow funds to be re-purposed for further appraisal drilling activity and value accretion through drilling success."

Malcy and Marrakesh........

https://www.malcysblog.com/2023/10/oil- ... d-finally/

...............Plenty of operational detail here from Predator as they update on progress at Guercif and it is indeed looking promising. Despite the delay whilst waiting for an in-country wireline logging unit, meaning a re-phasing of that part of the schedule they are moving ahead elsewhere.

I like the fact that they are opening discussions on the gas offtake as the larger scale seems to be encouraging, the very fact that this will be a CNG concept should be very rewarding. Also I think that the selection of MOU-3 as the first well in the rigless testing programme indicates confidence in the selection process.

I haven’t seen Chairman Paul Griffiths for a long time and I am hoping that I will do so in a few weeks time when I go to Morocco for the Oil Summit in Marrakesh. I’m hoping he will give me some time, as other leading figures in the industry have promised!........

I see Paul has successfully managed to avoid testing a well again. Well over 2 years since MOU1 was drilled and still not tested. If the gas was so plentiful there that he is trying to sell it you think he would have checked the flowrate first, I mean how can you write an MOU when you dont know how much gas there is to sell? I am sure he will get round to it sometime, raised cash at least twice to test it as well.
